Our Watershed project has officially set sail on Skipton’s canals. Our first session took place on Sunday 3rd November with a zine-making workshop. We’re working with The Writing Squad to host a series of creative workshops on board a canal boat, using the town’s waterways as a springboard for inspiration. Other sessions have included a song-writing workshop and setting up an ‘Emergency Museum’.
Watershed is a Great Place Lakes and Dales part-funded project. We are responding to a need for more space for young people to get together and collaborate on creative experiences in Skipton. To stay up to date with the project, follow us on our social media.
